BDS RD 4 - PREVIEW

IT'S TIME TO RACE... WELL, NEARLY!

The fourth round of the British Downhill Series is this weekend and with 2 of the TMC riders racing, Martin & Finn, we're looking ahead to the event, the riders & trackside!

The Event

The British Downhill Series is a much loved event on the calendar usually 6 times in the racing season. After the last round being cancelled through low rider sign up, we're buzzing to get to Llangollen - which holds great memories for the team, with Sarah taking our & her first national podium (in her cat) last year & multiple top 20 finishes through out the team riders at this spot ! Something that is on everyone's minds leading up to the race is that the current BDS organising team will be stepping down at the end of the current season, so leaving the national series in a bit of a limbo as to what will happen for the next year - will BC step in? Will there be a national series?
Needless to say; this round will have all the same as each before:
  • QUICK UPLIFT USING BIKE SPECIFIC TRAILERS
  • PRACTISE ALL DAY SATURDAY 09:30 TO 18:00 AND SUNDAY 08:00 TO 11:00
  • SEEDING AND A RACE RUN FROM 11:15 ONWARDS
  • FREE RACE SUPPORT FROM SHIMANO, CRANK BROTHERS, HOPE TECH AND SPRUNG SUSPENSION
